On, with a date. Say you're coming.
9 AM to Noon on Monday mornings, $60 per session. More info/registration on their website: https://sparktechies.ca/home-school-weekly-workshop/
You’ll hear the evening before each date. Say which days you’re in on the event page.
Hand building and glazing at Clayworx, with everything fired and ready to take home a few weeks after the last class. Five classes over six weeks, with a week off before the last one so the pieces can come out of the bisque kiln: Class 1: Wheel throwing Class 2: Trimming and decorating the wheel pieces, and more practice on the wheel if there's time Class 3: Hand building Class 4: Hand building, and finishing everything off Class 5: Glazing Each kid makes their own pieces, functional or decorative. They pick from five glaze colours, Clayworx fires everything, and the pieces are ready to pick up about three weeks after the last class. The glazes and the firing are food safe, so what they make can go in the dishwasher or the microwave. $130 a child, taxes waived. If you'd rather join in alongside your child than drop off, it's $260 plus HST for one parent and one child. Extra children or parents beyond that cost more. For a kids-only class, Clayworx are happy for you to drop off, or you're welcome to wait in their meeting room, which they keep clear for us. Registration and payment go straight to Clayworx by e-transfer. We need at least 10 people to run it, and 12 is the most they can take, because that's how many wheels they have. First come, first served.

Places open 0
These are going ahead once enough places are paid for, because the organiser has a teacher or a venue to pay before the day. Pull out any time before the pay-by date and you get your money back. After it, your place is yours to use or give to another family.
Ideas 9
Somebody's suggestion. Say if you'd come, so whoever runs it knows whether it's worth sorting out. Nothing is booked, nobody has paid, and there's no deadline.
+ Put one upChristmas in the Village: the buildings lit and dressed, wagon rides and carols, the whole place done up for the season. Open to the wider group, so bring friends. Admission at the gate.
A group music class with local musician/singer Imogen Wasse. Finding our voice, singing in a group, lots of fun and games. All ages and abilities/experience welcome! Looking at potentially Thursday mornings - flexible depending on who signs up.
Beginners, taught by a homeschool parent who teaches ballet. Open to any age, six and up is the suggestion but it's flexible. At Reimagine or a studio downtown depending on how many of us there are.
The museum plus the Lawson site next to it, which is an excavated Iroquoian village. Worth asking what they can do for a group our size.
Two hours on the walls with an instructor, shoes included. No experience needed. Better for the older ones.
A reconstructed Attawandaron village at Longwoods Road Conservation Area, plus the trails. Half an hour out of London.
Someone raised Beast Academy on the list. Working through it together once a week would be free, it just needs a room and a couple of parents who don't mind sitting in.
Nobody has found the artist yet. Put your name down and it's worth going looking; leave it blank and it isn't.
September is when thousands of hawks funnel down the Lake Erie shore at Port Stanley. Free, and it only works on the right sort of day.
